Today we are announcing our development efforts for RestyleMe 2.0! RestyleMe 2.0 will include what we already have and a major feature which will provide our users even more improved ways of exchanging style / fashion advice. We added more fashion and style articles today.

We added a section for fashion and style articles today. We plan to have lots of articles with lots useful information and tips in this section. We hope that you will all like it. :) Please feel free to let us know if you'd like to write a style / fashion article for RestyleMe or if you have an article you'd like published on RestyleMe.

We added the improvement we talked about in our previous post. You will see a new column on the right side of the main page. This column shows things like news feed summary, latest comments, latest forums post, cool styles (random styles from top styles) and list of online users. All these sections will refresh during voting process. So we think this feature improves style voting process by making it more exciting. Enjoy and don't forget to send us feedback :)

We added 2 more game categories today. Now we have some makeover and fantasy dress up games in the game section. Have fun playing with them!

Another improvement working on at the moment is a feature which we think will really improve the style voting process. We plan to have it online in couple of days. It seems like it will be an interesting feature so please check back soon and feel free to provide us feedback :)

We added a section for fashion videos today. Currently, we started with 5 fashion show videos of well know brands. Take a look an let us know if you have any videos you can suggest us. Have fun!

We added the news feed feature today. We think this is a pretty important feature since it brings more interaction to RestyleMe. News feed will show you what other users are doing on RestyleMe.

Another feature we added is ability to reply to comments on your profile page. We think this will be useful since replying to a comment will notify the owner of the comment therefore starting a conversation. So be sure to use reply feature when you are actually replying to a comment...

We added a new games section on RestyleMe today. At the moment we have about 14 fashion related games and we plan to add more games soon. Please feel free to let us know what you think about these games and what sort of games you are interesting seeing on RestyleMe's game page. Have fun with the games!

We made some improvements for the user profiles. Our users are now able to show things like personal style, favorite clothes, favorites brands and etc. on their user profiles. This way other user's looking at the profiles will have more information about person's fashion style. So please go ahead and fill in those fields in your Style Profile page and make your RestyleMe profile even richer!

We also introduced our fashion forums today which is pretty self-explanatory. Our users will now be able to express themselves better and talk about anything fashion related.

We made a couple of small improvements to the private message inbox. Now our users will be able to see their sent items and the replies they send will include a quotation of the item they respond to. This will make it a little easier to follow the conversation.

We no longer allow guests to write comments since this feature can be abused easily. Guests can still vote but they just can not write comments. So those of you who like writing comments while voting please join now!
This version also contains several performance fixes for those occasional slow downs when we have heavy traffic on RestyleMe.

We added another feature called style ranking. If you have multiple photos / styles on RestyleMe, it simply tell you which one is the most stylish according to votes it received. It is a cool feature so go ahead and give it a try now !

We added a feedback form on the style results page. We really want to know what our users think about RestyleMe. We are just wondering if RestyleMe needs restyling in any way. :)

We launched a test version of our Facebook RestyleMe application today. Once we complete the tests we will send an announcement email to everyone about the details of the new Facebook RestyleMe application. Thank you for your patience :)

We just expanded changed Top 10 to Top 20 since we have now more people / styles.

We added another feature that is requested by several of our users. This feature allows our users to browse the people / styles they voted for earlier. Previous version only gave this chance only if the person /style you voted for was either in your friend or favorite list. Now with new browse page you do not have to add the person in your friends or favorites list. Only thing you should keep in mind is that browse screen only shows people / styles you voted. The more people / styles you vote the more people / styles you will see in browse page. So go ahead and send your votes and comments to all the RestyleMe users!

We added a couple of things today. First, we added a "set as primary photo" feature to the My Photos page in case our users have multiple photos / styles on their account. The photo selected here is the one that shows up on your profile by default. Also, we saw that many of our users added three photos to their account right after we launched our multiple photo feature. Therefore, we decided to increase the multiple photo limit to five photos.

We added another much-requested feature today. Now, you can have more than one style / photo on your account. Our users won't have to create multiple accounts just to upload more than one style anymore -- not that there's anything wrong with that of course. You can now upload up to three styles and have them voted all at the same time. Or if you want only one of your photos voted, you can do that too. Best of all, you don't lose your past votes and comments on your old styles when you add a new style.

We added one of the most-requested features today. Our users wanted to be able to see "only" the votes they received since they last logged in to RestyleMe. While we always showed their total votes since they uploaded their photo in the past, we realized the usefulness of being able to see only the new votes (and their category breakdown of course) so we added it. You can switch between new votes only and all votes using radio buttons on your Style Results page.

We also completely re-designed our Top 10 page. You can now filter the Top 10 based on gender and style categories. You want to see the hottest woman hairstyles in RestyleMe? Now you can.

Oh, the page also looks much more compact now as we display little thumbnail profiles of users in Top 10. We'll keep adding new features and filters to Top 10. Let us know what you want to see.

We did a major makeover on the look of RestyleMe: We have a much more stylish new logo now. We changed the look of all our buttons. We also added gender-based color themes. Our female users get a pink theme; our male users get a blue theme. Our guests randomly get either pink or blue. Until they register that is. Pretty cool if you ask us...

Overall, we think RestyleMe looks much much better now. We'll keep tweaking our look here and there as we go...

Today, we launched RestyleMe and we are very excited about it. We hope our users will be as excited as we are.
